Authentic RagaMuffin Cats and Kittens

 

If you are thinking of adding a RagaMuffin cat or kitten to your home or family - BEWARE!

There are Kittens and Cats that are being represented as the RagaMuffin breed. Unless the cat or kitten's parents are both registered with the CFA (Cat Fanciers Association), ACFA (American Cat Fanciers Association) or GCCF (Governing Council of the Cat Fancy), they are NOT the authentic RagaMuffin!

TICA (The International Cat Association) does not currently recognize the RagaMuffin as a breed.  They will register any cat that looks like a RagaMuffin (even a cat bred to the neighbor's domestic mixed breed) as a RagaMuffin. This is because of the lack of the breed recognition and the necessary accompanying breed standards to guide breeders in their decisions.  Indiscriminate breeding without an approved standard goal to breed towards for the purpose of producing to sell is the definition of a Back Yard Breeder.
